Radosław Sikorski on possible peace. “It's going in a better direction”

On Tuesday evening in Krakow, Sikorski referred to videoconferencing during a meeting promoting his new book “From the Trenches to Europe”. The head of Polish diplomacy described the conversation as the so-called coalition of the willing as “very useful”. He emphasized that peace in Ukraine is closer than when this coalition began functioning. – This is going in a better direction, I'm talking about the prospects for peace, than what it started with, he said.
Despite this, he noted, he is still “skeptical as to whether Vladimir Putin is ready to conclude peace on terms acceptable to Ukraine.” “But we need to talk,” he added.
Volodymyr Zelensky spoke out about the US plan
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday that after the talks between the Ukrainian delegation and representatives of the US and Europe in Geneva, the number of points in the US peace proposal had been reduced and “is no longer 28.”
“There is still something to work on together – it is very difficult – to prepare the final document. And it must be done with dignity. And we appreciate that most of the world is ready to help us and that the American side is constructive. Yesterday, there were meetings practically all day long – it was difficult, extremely detailed work,” he emphasized.
