Donald Tusk's declaration of assets 2025. How old is the Prime Minister really?


Asset declarations of persons performing public functions in Poland are published annually and are intended to increase the transparency of public life and counteract corruption. The documents contain information about real estate, movable property, financial liabilities and income.

Donald Tusk returned to national politics in 2021 after eight years as head of the European Council and president of the European People's Party. In December 2023, he took up the position of Prime Minister, heading the new government after the electoral victory of the democratic opposition. The most striking fact is the lack of any real estate or a car in the prime minister's estate. Prime Minister Donald Tusk did not indicate either the apartment or the car — which may be surprising in the context of his position and many years of presence at the highest levels of power in Poland and Europe.

According to the disclosed document, the prime minister has savings of PLN 220,000. PLN in Polish currency and 290 thousand euro, which translates into approximately PLN 1.3 million. Tusk also declares that he has three insurance policies – one in ERGO Hestia for the amount of PLN 300,000. PLN and two in Allianz, each worth PLN 70,000. zloty.

The Prime Minister also received pension from the European Commission in the amount of PLN 69,000. 700 euros (approximately PLN 297,000)as well as retirement from ZUS in the amount of PLN 133,000. PLN 762.62 and a Belgian pension – EUR 2,433.
In turn, due to copyright Donald Tusk declared to obtain a total of PLN 25,000. 078 PLN.
The statement also included an interesting detail: a luxurious Grand Seiko GMT watch from 2016. The Prime Minister did not provide its specific value, but models of this type can cost from several to several dozen thousand zlotys, depending on the version and condition.
