The vice president emphasized that the United States is able to use the economy to resolve conflicts. – We are responsible for 25 percent. or more world GDP. Why not use our economic advantage to achieve peace? – he asked during a panel organized by Breitbart.

– When countries are not fighting each other, they use their economic talents to produce good goods, not their weapons to kill each other. This creates incredible economic opportunities for Americans. And that's why the president is so focused on peace, Vance continued.

He stressed that the president was doing it for humanitarian reasons and had already concluded eight peace agreements and was working on the “ninth and tenth.”

– If it gets to the tenth, then for reasons of mathematical harmony the Nobel Prize should be awarded to Donald J. Trump, although he certainly deserved it for the first eight, Vance said.

He added that Trump wants to save people's lives and at the same time wants a world where people trade with each other and not kill each other. – He's a tough guy, but he's not aggressive. (…) (He wonders) why don't you stop killing each other and start trading with each other, he emphasized.

– Why don't Russians and Ukrainians start trading with each other instead of killing each other? Travel between two countries? Engage in some kind of cultural exchange? – said the vice president.

He emphasized that this is Trump's fundamental approach to these matters. “If there is more peace in the world, it will be good for American workers, it will be good for Americans, and the president will continue to work for peace,” Vance said.
