“The Security Service of Ukraine contacted the National Anti-Corruption Bureau with a request to provide materials that may contain important information to verify the facts of high treason as part of their proceedings – the so-called Midas case,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
According to him, NABU is studying the SBU’s appeal and will provide relevant materials.
As the media interlocutor emphasized, NABU is “intended to cooperate” and is ready to involve the SBU in the investigation of the “Minditchgate” case, in particular, “in episodes regarding high treason and connections with the Russian Federation.”
An issue so important for national security should be investigated professionally, with the involvement of the special services under their jurisdiction, among other things, added Ukrinform’s source in NABU.
