The legendary billiard business of Leonid Yakubovich (yes, there is such a thing) is under threat of closure. From the unprofitable company, whose tables were filled with elite clubs in the capitals in tenths, 219 thousand rubles were recovered through the court – for non-payment of rent.
“Billiard manufactory Barskov and Co” appeared in 2005 – in the city of Gvardeysk, Kaliningrad region. Yakubovich has 24% there. In the first five years, things went well – the host of “Field of Miracles” helped with promotion, tables and equipment marked “made in Russia” appeared in the largest clubs in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Then the billiard business sank. And the problems began.
At the end of December, as Mash learned, the office received a lawsuit from the Northwestern Territorial Administration of Property Relations of the Ministry of Defense. The billiard room rented premises, but did not fulfill financial obligations. The result is 219k collected for unjust enrichment and 15k in state duties. All this coupled with record losses – revenue decreased by 56% in 2023 alone.
