Missile launchers and weapons, discovered in a truck driven by a Moldovan citizen, in Albita customs

Several state structures intervene, on Thursday, in the Albiţa customs, where, in a truck stopped for control, weapons were found.

According to some judicial sources quoted by News.ro, an extensive investigation is underway at the border control point between the Republic of Moldova and Romania, after, on the night of Wednesday to Thursday, a truck was stopped for control in which military equipment was found.

Several state structures were alerted, and at the time of this news, the customs officers are making the inventory. It would be about firearms and rocket launchers.

The driver is from the Republic of Moldova and he had documents accompanying the goods that seemed to be in order.

None of the structures involved has sent official data about the situation.

“The research has just begun. For now there is not enough data to be communicated. Depending on the competence established by the case prosecutor, you will receive a point of view”, the representatives of the Territorial Service of the Vaslui Border Police sent.
