VIDEO. Adrian Iencsi on the current situation in the Superliga: “Hats off to Rapid”

“I like the Superliga ranking only because Rapidul is in first place. I would also like the other teams to be as high as possible. I am referring to FCSB, CFR Cluj, Cluj University which pleasantly surprised in the previous season. We see that there have been surprises. Those from Botoșani, all respect for what Leo Grozavu is doing there. I can't say that I am pleasantly surprised by what is happening in our domestic championship.

Hats off to Rapid. I am very happy that there are very good conditions there, they have a very well trained coach. He is a serious boy, I know him very well. There is financial stability there. There are good working conditions and I foresee a very bright future for Rapid. I think that if Rapid will manage to win the championship this season, we might see a Rapid that will dominate the Romanian championship in the coming years. At the beginning of the season I would have said that Rapid would need a central midfielder, a number 10, but now I see a united, strong team. Very often, the group makes the difference. This can be seen and I hope it will continue,” Adrian Iencsi said

The Novak Law is not bad. I appreciate and encourage young players, Romanian players. There are many talented people. I appreciate what this law wants to do, but we cannot neglect our foreign players from the championship. Many of them have value, as proof CFR Cluj dominated the Romanian championship with many foreign players. I see it as auspicious.
