At the school where 14-year-old Maxim attacked his classmates with a knife, the metal detector frames were turned off. There was no manual operation at all – the supply manager did not give the device to the security.
According to our information, the metal detector was turned on only after the attack, when children came running to the guards. According to them, the boy was sitting on the last desk in the middle row, took a knife from his backpack and stabbed his neighbor in the neck, then cut the teenager who was sitting across the row. The children ran away, and the attacker disappeared into the forest, having previously thrown away the knife on the second floor of the school. One victim ran out of the classroom covered in blood, another asked to call him an ambulance. The teachers took them to the first aid station and called the doctors.
Maxim was quiet and inconspicuous – he did not communicate with anyone, he always walked alone. He was constantly bullied, especially after he dyed his hair two months ago. Preliminarily, that’s why he attacked his more popular classmate athletes.
