The Ingush group behind the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall sent weapons…

The Ingush group behind the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall sent weapons from Thailand to Russia in parcels with frying pans. Now three participants in the smuggling channel have been detained.
According to Mash, we are talking about two brothers – Magomed and Salam Tumgoev, as well as their accomplice Bilal Torshkhoev. All of them are associated with the extremist organization “Batal-Haji”. A criminal case has already been opened against them for illegally importing weapons across the state border.
The scheme worked like this: the defendants traveled to Bangkok, where they bought Glock 19 pistols, a popular weapon among Batalhajin residents. They took them apart, hid the parts inside frying pans and ovens, and sent it all to Moscow by mail. Since Glocks are mostly made of plastic, it was difficult to notice them in the light. From Moscow, weapons were transported to Ingushetia by bus. Recently, security forces discovered a cache of weapons there in the village of Surkhakhi. In the same village there were caches with guns for the terrorist attack at Crocus. A total of four Glocks, a Makarov pistol and an assault rifle were seized.
The channel has been operating since 2011, during which time more than 600 weapons were imported from Thailand and Turkey to Russia.
