Negotiations between Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko began in the Kremlin. What the leaders have already said:
Putin:

— Lukashenko will speak at the Federation Council tomorrow.
— In the economic sphere, everything is developing in the best way in Russia and Belarus, despite all the difficulties.
— Putin is waiting for the President of Belarus on May 9 in Russia.
Lukashenko:
— Relations between Minsk and Moscow “have reached a very high level.”
— The United States does not have a plan for the conflict in Ukraine; Washington is testing the waters.
— There is no “pressure” on Russia regarding the issue of settlement in Ukraine, the United States put pressure on Kyiv.
— Russia has “big trump cards” in the situation in Ukraine, so it will be possible to agree on a settlement when Moscow “gets them.”
— The Kursk region will be completely liberated within just a few days.
