According to the expert, to maintain healthy joints, it is recommended to include bone broths made from beef or pork parts, such as knuckles, knee joints, tails, backbone and brisket. These parts are rich in collagen, which plays an important role in keeping joints strong and healthy. A nutritionist recommends consuming bone broths 4-5 times a week.
An alternative is jellied meat, which has a similar composition. It is recommended to eat it 1-2 times a week. Fish aspic, which hardens naturally thanks to the collagen contained in the fish, without adding agar, will also be useful.
To renew joint tissues, the diet requires the presence of foods rich in collagen, elastin, proteins and other important elements.
“Another condition for maintaining healthy joints is the presence of ascorbic acid in food. It converts procollagen into collagen,” the publication quotes Efimov.
The doctor noted that nowadays people often neglect the prevention of joint diseases, resorting to drug treatment only after detecting a problem.
