In Ternopil, after the Russian strike, 26 people are considered missing, three of them are children. They are looking for them


He stressed that rescuers and police will work at the affected areas in Ternopil throughout the night.

“There is a lot of work ahead. The main thing is to find everyone who may be under the rubble. As of evening, there are reports of 26 missing in a destroyed house. Three are children. We are looking. 26 people have been confirmed dead from the Russian strike. Almost a hundred are injured,” Klimenko informed.

In one of the destroyed houses, two entrances burned to the ground, and there were no surviving apartments.

“The flames started instantly and a wave of fire covered the house. People tried to jump out of the windows in horror – rescuers evacuated them with high-altitude equipment. Unfortunately, 19 people died from the fire. […] We are looking for every person under the rubble. And we will not stop until we do everything possible for the sake of those who are waiting for their relatives,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized.



National police said that as of 8:30 p.m., 26 people were known to have died, including three children. 93 people were injured, including 18 children.
