Marc Cucurella (27 years old), the left back from Chelsea, has been with his partner, Claudia Rodriguez, with whom he has three children, for many years. The two celebrated eight years of their relationship, and he had a special post on Instagram.
The Spaniard posted several photos on Instagram: from their first moments together to a family picture in which all the members appear.

In the description of the post, however, it started with a risque joke. “The longest eight years of my life“, wrote the Chelsea defender.
The 2024 European champion with Spain added other words: “We shared wonderful moments, we went through difficult times, but always together as a great team. You make me so happy! I love you.”
Fortunately for him, his partner appreciated the message. “Thanks for the photos. I love you,” she replied.
The couple recently opened up about their eldest son Mateo's autism diagnosis. “We noticed something different about Mateo when he was about 13 months old, but it was a long process to get the diagnosis. When he was younger, it was easier, but as he got older, it became more difficult,” Cucurella said with emotion.
The situation became even more complicated when Cucurella transferred from Brighton to Chelsea in the summer of 2022. “He started school and he was very unhappy. We didn't know what to do. You have to find solutions on your own and you feel bad because you're not ready. You're preparing to become a mother, but not to be a mother of an autistic child. It was heartbreaking to see him so upset,” said Claudia Rodriguez.
Fortunately, little Mateo is now feeling better. He now attends a special school and his parents are noticing progress. “Sometimes he says a few words and repeats them. We work every day for him. We don't know what the future holds, but we do our best to give him the best chances. I recently went to Madrid so he could do investigations. We are constantly looking for solutions, that's all we can do,” concluded the footballer's partner.
