Romania's national minifotbal team started with a success at this year's World Cup edition, winning 2-1 in front of Uzbekistan. Today, the “tricolors” will face Ciad in the second match of the group.

Romania was distributed in Group B in the tournament organized in Baku, Azerbaijan, along with France, Uzbekistan and Ciad. In the first stage of the group stage, Gabriel Dumitrașcu and Andrei Şumălan registered for the victory of Romania in front of Uzbekistan, 2-1.

Today, May 23, from 3:30 pm, live on Digisport 1, Romania will play the second match of the group, against Ciad. The “tricolors” will play with France on Sunday, May 25, at 10:00 pm.

The first two ranked in each group advances in the optimal phase.
