The owner of FCSB admitted that he would like Denis Drăguș in the team, the player eliminated just a few minutes after entering the field, on Saturday evening, in the defeat against Bosnia in Zenica.

Gigi Becali said that he prefers Drăguș “in the lane”, not as a central striker.

“I like Drăguș in the band. I can't take him, because I'm taking him. Let him come to FCSB if he didn't get his money there. Talk, well, Șumi, that he's your son. Let him come to FCSB. He's the best Romanian footballer at this time,” said Becali, according to fanatik.ro.

Marius Șumudică, Drăguș's godfather, does not believe in the chances of moving.

“He never comes. He doesn't give up 1.5 million euros a year to come for a million. He doesn't take his money from the team he's at, but he's on loan there from Trabzonspor. He has 5 million to take from his wages,” Şumudica told Fanatik, quoted by GSP.

Romania was defeated by the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina with 3-1 and definitely compromised its chances of getting the 2nd place in the group in the preliminaries for the qualification for the World Cup in 2026. The “tricolors” will still go to the play-off in the spring, thanks to the course in the League of Nations.

After the victory against Romania, Bosnia has a chance even to win the group, but for this they must prevail on the field of the leader Austria, on Tuesday, in Vienna. Our national team will finish 3rd regardless of the result of the game with San Marino.
