Andrei Vochin, advisor to Răzvan Burleanu, the president of the FRF, announced that the Federation will submit a memorandum to UEFA after the racist slippage of the Bosnians in Zenica.

Throughout the match that Romania lost 1-3 against Bosnia, “gypsies, gypsies” was heard. The chanting of the spectators at the stadium in Zenica did not stop even after they were warned that the match could be stopped.

According to Andrei Vochin, the FRF immediately notified the fourth referee of the scandalous behavior of Bosnia's fans. The brigade intervened and threatened to stop the match. The chanting continued, however, and no further action was taken.

Vochin said that the FRF will continue its efforts and complain to UEFA about the treatment received in Bosnia.

“Our actions started during the match when the team manager addressed the fourth official. The match was then interrupted due to Marin's injury.

At the request of Cătălin Gheorghiu, the referee went and said to announce to the station that the procedure to stop the game has started, if they don't calm down. Obviously we will continue the approach. This was the first step.

Step 2 was needed, but from there it is their responsibility. The procedure was not continued with the following steps. I don't know why. We will ask them for an official point of view, we will draw up a memorandum. We will write a letter in which we will report what happened here“, Andrei Vochi said, according to fanatik.ro.
