The player of Borussia Dortmund and the German national team, Karim Adeyemi, came under the police's sights. He managed to avoid prison and will have no criminal record.
Karim Adeyemi and his partner, the Swiss rapper Loredana Zefi, were charged by the German police with illegal possession of firearms after a brass knuckle and a taser were found on them a year ago.
According to the Arms Act, the purchase, possession and carrying of arms are offences. Violations of it can lead to fines or imprisonment of up to three years. Using brass knuckles can even lead to up to ten years in prison!
Karim Adeyemi was fined 450,000 euros!
After several months of investigations, the Prosecutor's Office in Hagen decided to fine him. The star of Borussia Dortmund and the German national team must now pay 450,000 euros to the state treasury, the equivalent of 60 daily allowances of 7,500 euros each!

The amount was calculated based on the net income of the Borussia winger. His luck? Adeyemi will be registered in the Federal Central Registry but will not be considered to have a criminal record.
In response to an investigation by tabloid Bild, chief prosecutor Michael Burggräf confirmed a criminal order against a 23-year-old professional player: “It was issued by the district court in Wetter and became legally binding on October 30, 2025.” Thus, Adeyemi was spared a public trial.
Karim Adeyemi is the newest impresario of Cristiano Ronaldo's agent
For several months, the player has been represented by the famous impresario Jorge Mendes (59), a long-term adviser to Cristiano Ronaldo (40). The Portuguese is considered a tough negotiator, a man for XXL deals.
Adeyemi missed the national team's 2-0 win in the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Luxembourg due to a yellow card suspension. But he will be part of Julian Nagelsmann's squad for Monday's game against Slovakia.

Adeyemi's mother, Alexandra (45 years old), is originally from Brașov, and his father, Abbey (53 years old), was a footballer in Nigeria. The two live in Unterhaching, a suburb of the capital city of Munich.
