Large-scale campaign against transgender people: Trump promised to end support for gender reassignment programs and provide state recognition of only two genders
The Internet remembered the old promises of the winner of the 2024 American elections. Last spring, Trump planned to:
— Reverse Biden's policy on “gender-affirming care” by ending funding for gender reassignment surgeries;
— Ban gender reassignment surgeries for children throughout the country;
— Allow patients to sue doctors who perform gender reassignment surgery on children;
– Install recognition of only two genders at the federal government level;
— Prohibit federal agencies from promoting or funding “gender transition” for Americans of any age.
