VIDEO “They sedated the child with some tests that turned out badly. They killed her”, accuses the father of the dead girl in the dental clinic in Bucharest / First reaction from Crystal Dental Clinic

“The child went into cardio-respiratory arrest, and we were only notified after an hour or so,” accused the father of the dead girl in a dental clinic in Sector 3 of the Capital, according to the images broadcast by Digi24, TVR Info and Antena 3 CNN, late Thursday evening. The cabinet announced, meanwhile, that it will collaborate with the authorities in this case.

“The problem is that they sedated the child with some bad tests,” the child's father claimed.

“Our clinic will fully cooperate with the competent authorities in any investigation to elucidate the circumstances of this tragic event. Our absolute priority remains transparency, accountability and the prevention of any future risks,” the office's representatives said in their first public reaction.

The girl could no longer be resuscitated. The police opened an investigation in this case, and the Minister of Health announced inspections at the office.

“Liver values came out six times higher. Today, the wife called, sent messages on WhatsApp, told her that it's okay, that she can come, that it doesn't affect those analyses, those higher values in any way. The wife came, after 20 minutes after they sedated or anesthetized her, the child went into cardio-respiratory arrest. And we were only notified after an hour or so. And the ambulance, too, came after an hour and something,” said the girl's father.

The child had to undergo two root canal treatments, and the parents signed that they agreed with the anesthesia, her father also told.

“The problem is that they sedated the child with some bad tests. That's our big problem, that they informed us after an hour or so that the child was in cardio-respiratory arrest. Why didn't they inform us then, immediately, that the wife should come in? I came specially from Campulung, I wasn't here”, he added.

“They killed her, that's my opinion. I don't know what it was, unconsciousness, inattention. I sedated the other child, we have another little boy, and it was fine. But he came with the good tests”, the man also accused, in front of the reporters.

“Well, he makes you sign. The wife signed. The wife has messages with the doctor on WhatsApp, where she told him that it would be better to change the appointment, and the doctor said no, to come, it's ok”, added the girl's father, about the consent for the child's anesthesia signed by the family, anesthesia during which the little girl died.

His little girl, only two years old, died on Thursday, following a cardio-respiratory arrest, while she was at a dental clinic in Sector 3 of the Capital.

The police opened an investigation

The Capital Police announced that they have opened an investigation in this case.

“On November 13, 2025, at around 7:30 p.m., Police Department 10 was alerted, via SNUAU 112, regarding the fact that, at a dental clinic in Sector 3, a child went into cardio-respiratory arrest. The police immediately went to the scene, where they found that the issues reported were confirmed, being a minor, aged approximately 2 years”, the police said.

According to them, the medical crews present performed resuscitation maneuvers, but, unfortunately, the death of the minor was declared. The file was taken over by the Injuries and Culpable Homicide Service of the Capital Police, under the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the 3rd District Court, in order to establish all the circumstances in which the tragic event occurred.
