Laszlo Balint, the coach of the Oțelul Galați team, praised his players after the victory against Rapid Bucharest, score 2-0, in the 20th stage of the SuperLiga.

Thanks to the success in Giulești, Oțelul temporarily climbed to the 6th place in the ranking, the last leading to the play-offs.

“I have to congratulate the boys from the bottom of my heart. I have nothing to say to them. A beautiful evening, I congratulate all the boys, including those who did not play, but also those who are injured and did not make the trip.

I am fortunate to coach an easy group to coach and they understand what we need to coach. The fact that we had that development against Rapid, that's something. I'm glad

Fabulous (no Paul Iacob's goal), I have nothing more to say. He's a capable player, I knew he batted like that. I'll tell you honestly, he doesn't really succeed many times, but he's persistent. These players have confidence in what they can do. I have always said that the team is growing. Many smiled wryly, but these are not random results.

There are still many points at stake, we must stay connected. We meet FC Argeș (no in the next stage), a tough team. Now we are happy, it is a beautiful evening, a great victory. The boys deserve to be happy, but afterwards we have to be balanced,” said Balint, according to digisport.ro.

Oțelul – FC Argeș, the last match of the Galaţi group since 2025, will take place on December 20, from 17:00.
