The most ardent supporters of the Bosnian national team, “BHFanaticos” have announced that they will not support the team at the stadium due to a protest, after the Bosnian officials made the decision to restrict their access to the match with Romania.
The authorities prepared for all kinds of scenarios, including the one in which the radical supporters would come to the Zenica Hotel, the place where the “tricolors” are staying, with the idea of destabilizing them.
Extraordinary security measures in Zenica ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Romania: camera checks and constant police surveillance
Before the arrival of the “tricolors” at the hotel in Zenica, the special troops controlled room by room, for about 3 hours, on the floor of the Romanians at the hotel.
The Romanians will have continuous surveillance by the authorities: two police crews will follow them constantly, everywhere, and they will stay at the hotel at night to ensure that our delegation will not be disturbed by a possible action by the radical ultras.
Bosnia and Herzegovina – Romania is considered a high risk match. “Given the sporting importance of the match, the history of incidents between supporters and the tense context, special security measures have been imposed,” announced the FRF.

The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is under the supervision of UEFA, after the fans caused incidents in the last matches. The federation tried to limit their access to the stadium for the match against Romania, and the fans littered the country with banners: “You can't buy us”. Later, the fans announced that they would boycott the match with the “tricolors”.
“We will not be at the match. We feel insulted by the decision of the Federation not to give us tickets. The possibility of incidents is minimal now, because we are the only ones using torches and other pyrotechnic materials. There may only be chants against the Federation, but nothing more,” the group “BHFanaticos” said
