“Today we commemorate 10 years since the tragic attacks at the Bataclan, Stade de France and on the Parisian terraces. We stand with France. Our thoughts go out to the victims, to their families and to all those whose lives were mourned. It is essential that we collaborate to build safer and more tolerant societies. Together we stand united in the face of hatred”the head of state wrote on the online platform.
The Eiffel Tower, Paris City Hall and the Statue of the Republic were illuminated on Wednesday evening in blue, white and red, the colors of the French flag, in tribute to the victims of the jihadist attacks of November 13, 2015, writes Agerpres.
This symbolic lighting will be repeated on Thursday to commemorate ten years since the worst attacks on French soil since the Second World War, which left 132 dead, in addition to two people who took their own lives due to post-traumatic stress, hundreds of wounded and thousands of traumatized people.
