According to the 2026 calendar, New Year will fall on Thursday, and Epiphany (January 6) on Tuesday. If we take two days off – Friday, January 2 and Monday, January 5 – we will gain as many as five days off. This is a great time for a winter trip or a quiet reset after the holidays.
Easter in 2026. it's appropriate April 5a Easter Monday — April 6. It's a traditional three-day weekend, but for four days off between Tuesday, April 7 and Friday, April 10, we'll gain nine days off from work. Just in time to welcome spring and the opening of the allotment season.
An exceptionally short May weekend
May Day in 2026. does not pamper. May 1st (Labor Day) falls on Fridaya Constitution Day on Sunday, May 3. A holiday falling on a Sunday is not a day off, so we can enjoy a three-day weekend.

Days off in June
Corpus Christi traditionally falls on Thursday. In 2026 this is it June 4. Just take Friday, June 5 off to enjoy four days off. The beginning of June is the perfect time for a short trip before the peak of the holiday season. However, it is worth hurrying to submit your leave application before our colleagues do it.
August. A chance for a shortened working week
August 15i.e. day Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and at the same time Polish Army Day in 2026 is due on Saturdayfor which the employee is entitled an additional day off. Picking it up on August 14 or 17 allows you to shorten your working time to four days and a three-day weekend without any combinations.

Holiday in November. A way to deal with the autumn blues
November 1 (Sunday) won't give us an extra day of rest, but November 11 (Wednesday) it's a chance for a week's vacation. Just take four days off to enjoy nine days of rest. This is a good time to escape the autumn weather abroad and catch the last rays of sun before the end of the year.
December. Christmas and the end of the year
Christmas Eve is from 2025 a day off from work. In 2026 it falls on a Thursday, which means that December 25 is Friday and December 26 is Saturday. Taking a day off on Boxing Day between December 21 and 23 and taking two days off, extend the holiday period to nine days. Choosing days off between December 28 and 31 will mean that with 6 days of vacation, we will gain as much as 16 days to regenerate and plan the next year.
