The Epstein case is bothering Donald Trump. “He knew about the girls”

The newly released emails are part of a trove of Jeffrey Epstein material turned over to a congressional investigative committee that has been investigating the Epstein case for months.
What emails did the Democrats release?
Who was the recipient of Epstein's email?
What did Epstein write about Trump in 2011?
How did Trump react to the Epstein-related accusations?
The committee also subpoenaed the Justice Department to produce records on its handling of the Epstein case, but the administration provided relatively little material that would not already be public. Democrats say this is part of a cover-up.
“Trump said he asked me to resign, [choć] “I have never been a member,” Epstein wrote in a 2019 email to Michael Wolff, an apparent appeal by the president for Epstein to leave Trump's Mar-a-Lago club.[Oczywiście] “he knew about the girls because he asked ghislaine to stop.”
Wolff, the recipient of the email, is likely the same journalist who has written extensively about Trump's presidency. Epstein was referring to Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted accomplice who is currently serving a prison sentence.
Epstein also wrote in a 2011 email to Maxwell that Trump was the “dog that didn't bark” – which probably meant that Trump did not reveal details about his activities. Epstein added that the victim, whose name has been withheld, spent many hours with Trump.
Trump has denied wrongdoing in the Epstein allegations. So far, no evidence has suggested that Trump was involved in a human trafficking operation. The president also maintained that he and Epstein split up years ago.
The White House has not yet responded to a request for comment.
