Special rescue operation: killer whale washed ashore in Kamchatka
A young female was captured by an estuary in the Sea of Okhotsk. Using heavy-duty equipment, the killer whale was moved into the water.
It is expected that she will be able to swim away on her own with the tide.
Cracks have formed on the animal's skin due to dryness. Volunteers and rescuers manually pour water on her.
