Ukrainian Parliament Approves First Reading of Import Tax Repeal
The Ukrainian Parliament has taken a significant step by approving the first reading of a bill that would eliminate value-added tax (VAT) exemptions on imported goods priced under €150. This legislation, if passed, would come into effect no earlier than July 1, 2027, but only after a decision by the government. The proposed changes specifically affect goods arriving in Ukraine via international postal shipments.
