Prices did not move up after the increase in price caps, – an expert.
From August 1, new maximum prices on the electricity market have been in effect in Ukraine, but fears about a price jump have not come true.
“Actually, the price caps were changed only for the “evening peak” hours (17-23)”. – reminded Daria Orlova from ExPro Consulting. According to her, the market reacted moderately, which indicates healthy competition and stability of the balance sheet.
These facts prove that the revision of the limit prices did not lead to a sharp increase in the price of electricity.
