A car dealership in Krasnoyarsk will pay the motorist for imposed services

In Krasnoyarsk, the Autofederation LLC car dealership will pay the car enthusiast 215 thousand rubles for the services imposed. This was reported by the press service of Rospotrebnadzor for the region.

In March 2025, a resident of the Pirovsky district came to Krasnoyarsk to buy a car. The purchase price was 1.56 million rubles. The man borrowed money using his car as collateral.

According to the man, the manager of the car dealership convinced him that in order to receive a loan, he needed to fulfill a mandatory condition – sign an agreement with Autofederation LLC for the provision of additional services in the amount of 125 thousand rubles. Additional services included an emergency commissioner in case of an accident, a European protocol, a call from a lawyer on behalf of the client, evacuation of a car in the event of a breakdown, and verification of fines.

In April, the car owner decided to terminate the contract with Autofederation LLC because he did not use additional services. However, the organization ignored the claim to terminate the contract and return the money to the victim. The man turned to Rospotrebnadzor specialists, who prepared a statement of claim and represented the consumer’s interests in court.

By court decision, the contract for the provision of additional services was terminated. Almost 215 thousand rubles were recovered from Autofederation LLC in favor of the car owner, of which: money paid under the contract, compensation for moral damage – 10 thousand rubles, interest for the use of other people's funds – 8,226 rubles, a fine for failure to fulfill the consumer's requirements voluntarily – 71,613 rubles.

This is not the only such case. Judging by court data, in 2025 Avtofederatsiya LLC was also a defendant in similar civil suits in Lesosibirsk and Ilansky district; a similar lawsuit is now being considered in the Minusinsk City Court.
