The president of UDMR, Kelemen Hunor, said, when asked if the current coalition could break after the elections in the capital, considering that PNL, PSD and USR have their own candidates, that he does not know if a break will be reached, but “they will be followed”. “Let all three not lose, because then it's even worse,” said Kelemen Hunor in an interview for Cotidianul.

“It's possible, of course. You realize, there are three candidates from the coalition. Plus there are some satellites there, SENS, I don't know where, which are closer to the USR and probably at some point they will come to an agreement. Only one will win. Among Ciucu, Băluţă and Drula, only one will win. The others will be losers with parties, with everything. And that means there will be some problems, tensions,” said Kelemen Hunor, quoted by News.ro.

He appreciated that the situation also depends on how they will attack during this period in the campaign.

“We have already seen some attacks from all sides. This will worsen the situation, but there is no way that all three will win. One will win”, emphasized the UDMR leader.

Kelemen Hunor avoided specifying who he sees as the favorite, saying that he does not vote in Bucharest.

“I don't know, I'm looking, I don't vote in Bucharest, I really don't… Especially since we are all colleagues with Drula, and Ciucu, and Băluţă. I don't want to give my opinion, I don't vote in Bucharest, it really doesn't matter what I think. But I tell you as a principle, out of three, one will win”, explained Kelemen Hunor.

Asked if the fact that only one of the three candidates will win will lead to the breakup of the coalition, the UDMR leader replied: “I don't know if it will break up, I hope not, but they will be followed. God, ok, don't let all three lose, because then it's even worse.”
