“It's impudence! Some become dictators”

Ciprian Marica (40 years old), the minority shareholder of Farul, and Valeriu Iftime (65 years old), the president of FC Botoșani, believe that it is time for change at the top of LPF and FRF.
CONTEXT:
-
In the Extraordinary General Assembly of the LPF, which will take place on November 13, GSP revealed that Gino Iorgulescu intends to propose the amendment of the LPF statute, in order to obtain a fourth mandate at the head of the League;
-
Andrei Nicolescu, Dinamo's president, tries to convince his competition partners of the “immorality” of the LPF chief's strategy, including regarding television rights, and to block Gino's plan;
-
The change for which the clubs were invited to prospect is a change that would allow Gino Iorgulescu to apply again and on Dani Coman to throw him completely out of the race: “Be at least 5 years uninterrupted of experience in managing a sports structure active in the field of football, at the level of League 1, including at the level of the LPF and the Romanian Football Federation”
A few hours away from when Gazeta revealed the plan of the president of Dinamo, Farul, through his voice Ciprian Maricamade it clear that he joins this effort and that it is time for changes in leadership at the level of LPF and FRF, and that the current leaders, even if they have done good things, should step aside and give way to others, who can, in turn, implement new ideas.
And Valeriu Iftime is of the same opinion: “What Gino wants to do is audacious,” he said.
Ciprian Marica: “I respect Gino, but some people get there and don't want to leave”

Ciprian Marica
“I respect Gino, I met his family, but some get there and don't want to leave. I'm sure we'll have the same at FRF, as Burleanu also said. Some become dictators.
You did your job very well, ok, but let others too. The heads of the FRF and LPF should leave others in their place. Train others younger. People, for a small advantage… Romanian football has no medium-long term vision, there is no strategy. It is inadmissible to give the TV rights for 10 years, it is inadmissible!
No, I'm not thinking of running, I just want to comment from the outside. I don't want to say more, but we have this tendency for people to stay out of office. They've done good things, but they're not leaving. That's it, let others, maybe they have other ideas.
I am honestly disappointed that no one is seeing anything more and everyone is enjoying a short term benefit. Don't you know that there is no access to the TV rights contract?
Why do this now? It's not democracy, it's not freedom. Why change now? Today it happens in the League, tomorrow in the Federation. For small advantages, they make decisions without caring about the future of Romanian football. We are talking about things that matter very little.
It seems to me that people no longer want to leave those positions. You increased the TV rights, ok, maybe someone else will come up with another idea. Dani Coman, who will she be!“, said Ciprian Marica, on the show “Digi Sport Special”.
Valeriu Iftime is of the same opinion: “It seems impudence to me. You cannot make a change of status to remove Dani Coman from the race”
Next, he had an intervention and Valeriu Iftimethe president of FC Botoșani, who was of the same opinion, that it is time for a change and that Dani Coman should not be removed from the fight. The head of the Moldovans also announced that his team will vote against it at the General Assembly scheduled for November 13, at Poiana Brașov.
I'm not saying that Dani Coman could make a change, but you can't make a status change to take Dani Coman out of the race.
I think what Gino wants is impudence! For me, LPF must learn from FRF. I am not Mr. Burleanu's lawyer, but extraordinary things happened there. I can't guarantee that Dani Coman would do that, but you can't rule him out.
Craiova, Dinamo, Rapid do not think they would vote for this. It's not my job to call clubs to ask how they're going to vote. LPF means 16 clubs. I'm embarrassed to give any more answers about the vote.
Botoșani vote against. I always voted based on the things I believed in. I hate that we always vote with the losers, but that's it. I don't think anything can be done. What can he do to me or another League 1 team?

What exactly does Dinamo want to do?
The team from Ștefan cel Mare, through the voice of the president Andrei Nicolescu, is trying to prevent the implementation of the new “updates” in the statute and is working to convince the other clubs in the Superliga so that the LPF plan does not go to the next level.
The site's sources reveal that Andrei Nicolescu has taken a firm position in this whole controversy, contesting the League's plan to change a regulation drawn up by Gino Iorgulescu himself, during his own reign! In short, Dinamo is putting itself at the mercy of Gino Iorgulescu's more or less pronounced desire to award himself a new mandate.
Concrete, Dinamo requests that the status change be postponed or removed from the agenda, citing time for a thorough legal analysis and for consultations with all clubs.
In addition, Dinamo also has complaints about the current TV rights contractwhich he considers ineffective and not very feasible in the long term. In the context of technological expansion, clubs fear that the current contract may lose its legitimacy in favor of tools such as YouTube or the pay-per-view regime.
