“DTEK’s communication campaign on the sustainability of Ukrainian energy received gold in the Best Crisis Communications Measurement & Reporting category and silver in the Best Use of Measurement for Single Event or Campaign category at the AMEC Awards 2025,” it says.
The jury of the award noted the installation “Battle for Light”. It is based on a 40-ton transformer from the DTEK thermal power plant, destroyed by Russian shelling. The installation was installed in the fall of 2024 on Kontraktova Square in Kyiv.
In April 2025, the installation was memorialized in the exhibition of the War Museum, near the Motherland pedestal.
