FCSB experienced a match with huge emotions in Sibiu, in front of those from Hermannstadtin the 16th stage of the Superliga. The champion led 1-0, but was turned around by the hosts and took only one point, score 3-3, after a second half full of tension, eliminations and controversial phases.

After this tie, FCSB climbed to 9th place, with 20 points, tied with Cluj University. On the other hand, Hermannstadt reached 11 points, but remains penultimate in the league standings.
In the next stage, FCSB plays at home with Petrolul Ploiești, and Hermannstadt goes to the field of the newly promoted Metaloglobus.
