The one who caused the vote to postpone, by moving it to the tail of the list on the agenda, is the group leader of the PSD, Stefan Ovidiu Popa. The deputy is originally from Drăgășani, Vâlcea county.
What do the changes of the sport of the sport bring
Specifically, the new amendments brought to the Sport Law say that by the association of two public entities a private entity is formed. “Basically, CSA Steaua can be associated with the City Hall of Sector 6 and becomes a professional club of private law and can promote in the first football league in Romania,” said one of the deputies.
This modification can benefit first and foremost CSA Steaua, the club owned by the Ministry of Defense, and CS Dinamo, a club belonging to the Ministry of Interior.
Basically the new amendments are lobby for:
- The official recognition of public law clubs as professional entities, forbidden or ambiguous in the current law.
- The legalization of their functioning in professional competitions and, implicitly, recognizing the role of state institutions in the field of sports performance.
- The introduction of a distinct legal form for the clubs established by the state, which would allow them to participate in competitions and coherent financing without sanctions from the Court of Accounts.
