The father of the 25-year-old girl from Beciu commune, Teleorman county, who was killed on Saturday by her husband, in front of the family's eldest son, accused that he had reported the aggressor to the police numerous times before the crime, but the authorities did not take any action against him.

“How many times did I call 112 and the police and what measures did they take? And how many times did he violate the protection order?! He would come and stop the car, and I called, and they said it was a public road. It's a public road, but you don't stop at my gate,” said the father of the murdered girl, quoted by Digi 24.

The man stated that his son-in-law, against whom the young woman had a 6-month protection order issued by the court, was coming to the gate of their house and “attacked us, started swearing at me and no action was taken”.

He alleged that he was beaten by the father of the aggressor. “I have broken ribs from his father, I called the police,” he added.

He also accused the police of “not taking measures”.

“They said that they had nothing to do with her. They said that the case was at the Court and that she had to be tried, and that until then the judiciary had nothing to do with her,” Mihaela's father also affirmed.

The 25-year-old woman was fatally stabbed 15 times on Saturday, on the day she celebrated her name day, on a street in Beciu commune, Teleorman county. The couple's youngest son, 3 years old, witnessed the murder.

The heads of the Romanian Police ordered an investigation at the IPJ Teleorman on Monday, given that the woman killed on the street by her husband, from whom she had separated, had obtained two protection orders, one provisional issued by the Police and one long-term, issued by the court, and after issuing them, the aggressive partner continued the threats and was even accused of kidnapping and raping her, being later released by the authorities.

Coform IPJ Teleorman, in both situations, the victim did not want the installation of an electronic monitoring system, “in question the police officers carrying out the specific activities according to the legal framework in force”.

And the general prosecutor, Alex Florenta, ordered a control at the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Turnu Măgurele Court. The verifications concern both the way in which the investigations were carried out in the criminal file regarding the crime of rape, as well as the way in which the procedure was carried out in the case of the provisional protection order.

According to Impact News24, the attacker tried to take his own life after killing his partner. He survived and is now in intensive care at Alexandria Emergency Hospital.
