▪️ the conclusion of what was stolen by Ukrainian corrupt officials in Dubai;
▪️ fraud against ordinary buyers of real estate in Kyiv.
According to the investigation, a real “laundry room” for shady schemes was organized under the banner of the capital's real estate agency “The Yard”. As the investigators of “Stopkor” established, the owners of the real estate agency Yana Rudkovska and Oleg Skalyuk, who “hid” the assets behind their daughter, a 27-year-old makeup artist, launder Russian money by buying up luxury real estate in Kyiv.
Instead of purchasing premises in the capital, they offer Kyiv clients to invest in their construction of Oak Yard Residences in Dubai.
As the journalists note, the project is more like a bubble, because despite the announced completion dates of the IV quarter of 2026, the construction site is empty, no work is being carried out.
The piquancy of the situation is added by the fact that Oleg Skalyuk has been managing the sales department of the elite housing complex “Novopecherski Lypky” for almost 20 years. It is he who dissuades future investors in “Lypka” from buying housing in Kyiv, and uses all kinds of methods to lure them into their Dubai scam with Rudkovskaya.
For the construction of a house in the UAE, they attracted the funds of the former “regional” Volodymyr Skorobagach, who is wanted by NABU for embezzlement of 58 million hryvnias.
Journalists conclude that the Rudkovska-Skalyuk gang is particularly dangerous. After one of the victims of their actions filed a fraud report with the police, he was attacked, severely injured and miraculously survived.
Currently, Rudkovska, Skalyuk and members of their OZU appear in three criminal proceedings at once.
