“Today we're going to talk about the worst SUV you shouldn't buy used, the Jeep Compass. I guess they didn't know where they were going when they made the Compass.”

“They're underpowered, the seats aren't comfortable, they make all kinds of noises. They're also known for electrical problems. I've had customers drive down the road and the car would stall. So if you want a used SUV and are looking for recommendations, don't buy the Compass.”

The Compass is a compact crossover SUV that debuted in 2007 and has since received several updates.

One YouTube user, @gohappypanda1, said: “I tested a Compass. Besides being small on the inside, the engine stalled in the middle of the intersection! I tried to start the car several times but nothing! Even the salesman, who was sitting next to me, didn't know what to do.”

@Gabrielle-z3b noted: “My Compass ran very well until 35,000 miles (56,327 km). Now it's “kaput” and won't start.”

The latest third-generation Jeep Compass was presented earlier this year, with the model also available in mid-hybrid variants. However, some drivers were not convinced, saying that their Compass models did not experience similar problems.

“I have a 2013 Jeep Compass and it has had almost no repairs.”

@damnkids9999 added: “Well, I've had it for almost 2 years now, and even though I don't even drive 5000 miles (approx. 8,000 km) a year, I haven't had any problems at all.”
