In an interview with PAP, attorney Nicola Canestrini said: – The conditions of my client's detention in prison are critical. Serhiy K. suffers because, as a sick person, he is not provided with proper nutrition. Therefore, on October 31, he began a hunger strike as a sign of protest.
— Serhiy K. is in a cell with prisoners who smoke cigarettes; he does not have access to food that is necessary for his health condition and to the treatment needed in his case. On Tuesday, he refused to see a doctor as a sign of protest, explained Mr. Canestrini.
