Multiple world champion in artistic gymnastics Alexei Dudchenko is being checked by the police for child abuse during training at the MGIMO sports complex in Moscow.
According to Mash on Sports, the mother of one of the man’s charges, Yulia, filed a statement with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the prosecutor’s office and the Investigative Committee. She wrote that she chose Dudchenko for his regalia (in addition to champion titles, he is also a member of the Council for Children’s Rights in the Rostov Region) and because of his son’s health problems – a 5-year-old boy’s foot was falling inward. They hoped that Alexey would be able to correct the situation thanks to his technique. We contacted him, he announced the price – 2.5k per lesson. One condition: parents are not allowed to attend training.
