Bolojan must quickly take on the third legislative package. If PSD opposes, vote the censure motion together with AUR

Time has no more patience with us. There are still three weeks until the deadline of November 28, when Romania will lose 230 million euros from the PNRR, if it does not resolve the magistrates' pension law. The reasoning of the CCR on the decision to reject the magistrates' pension law simplifies things.

The four judges who had a separate opinion, Asztalos Csaba Ferencz, Dacian Cosmin Dragoș, Laura -Iuliana Scântei, and Prof.univ.dr. Elena-Simina Tănăsescu abolished the arguments of the five judges who voted to reject the law based on extrinsic critics, waiting for the opinion of the CSM.
In my opinion, this law must be included in the third package, and the government's responsibility for this package should be assumed, together with the other urgent laws.
Hence the urgency of the third package
1. Let's not exceed the deadline of November 28 for the promotion of the magistrates' pension law.
2. The prerequisites for the preparation and adoption of the budget for 2026 must be prepared, until the closing of the parliamentary session, before December 31, 2025. Those who build the budget must know what obligations the state assumes, especially in terms of expenses, because no further increases in fees and taxes are foreseen. All that remains is the reduction of the state's operating expenses. Much lower personnel expenses compared to those in 2025 must be included in the budget, because higher revenues are not foreseen. And the budget deficit assumed for 2026 is 6% of GDP, which is a steep drop from 9% this year. All these calculations must be done now, for the 2026 budget draft.
3. The budget deficit assumed by the Government at the EC for the year 2025 is 8.6% of GDP. From the last budget executions in the months of August and September, it does not appear that we will respect this promise. So also in the third package of laws, drastic reductions in public spending must be included in order to respect this assumed deficit at the EC.
4. Depending on the third package of measures, the European bodies, ECOFIN and others, will evaluate whether Romania has a chance to recover from the budget, or enters the final part of the excessive deficit procedure. The risk is enormous, because the rating agencies could put Romania in the “junk” category, and the EU could block the money allocated to Romania.
PSD opposition
PSD opposes this package and goes on strike, because it is not up to the government to pay pensions and budget salaries. PSD insists on economic recovery measures, although the economy is private, not run by the state. The state can only intervene through tax reductions, financial support granted to companies and investments. All this if he had money, but he doesn't. And in the measures regarding the central and local administration PSD opposes the reduction of actually employed personnel.
Bolojan has only one choice
To complete the assumption of responsibility on the third package of laws, and if the PSD does not agree, all it has to do is vote the censure motion that AUR will surely submit, and let Grindeanu come to the head of the government, take out money for pensions and budget salaries. Let's see where he gets them from!
The interest on loans paid by Romania reached a record level of 10 billion euros this year. In the following years, the rates on the loans taken plus interest will simply suffocate the state budget, because the snowball has turned into an avalanche.
There is no more time for “political stability”, for discussions, complaints, negotiations with the unions. You have nothing to negotiate with magistrates and unions, as PSD proposes. There is no money, and before a total collapse, the bankruptcy of the state budget, the Government must do what remains to be done: the rapid assumption of the third package of legislative measures, which will massively reduce the state's operating expenses.
Otherwise, Romania goes bankrupt!
