Performance based on the novel by M.Yu. Lermontov, where the familiar text will sound in rap style to the rhythms of electronic music. The main idea is to present a classic work in a modern style that is understandable and close to young people, while retaining the original text.
Rap, written by the poet Lev Kiselev (RE-pac), serves as a tool for adapting classics to modern times, turning Lermontov's monologues into laconic rhyming compositions. While preserving the original text in the dialogues, the authors carefully convey the key events of the story “Princess Mary,” where the cynical officer Pechorin goes through a series of dramatic events and faces moral questions that are still relevant today.
