The founder of the Rusagro agricultural holding and former senator from the Belgorod region, Vadim Moshkovich, was detained in Moscow.
The capital and Belgorod offices of his company were searched. Security forces will interrogate Moshkovich in the near future.
From May 2006 to December 2014 he was a senator in the Federation Council from the Belgorod region. As of 2023, the fortune was estimated at $2.3 billion.
