FC Botoșani, the leader of the Super League, lost at Ovidiu, score 0-2 with lighthouse Constanța, in the first match of the return of the regular season. Dobrogeni won through the goals of Ionuț Vînă (min. 5) and Ionut Larie (min. 45+2, penalty), climbing into the play-off zone.

We took the title, year after year we are almost always in the play-offs and this is our goal this season as well.
We will touch it because we are playing a good game, but we have to take it one step at a time. I am convinced that at the end of the return we will be up there.”

The success with the leader FC Botoșani takes Farul Constanța into the play-off zone, with three points over Oțelul Galați.
