We give young people the opportunity to optimize their finances using our rental deposit guarantee service, says Marcin Sulmirski, founder of Bingo Rent. The startup wants to introduce a new standard of transparency between tenants and landlords to the Polish market.

Wrocław is becoming an increasingly important point on the map of the Polish fintech scene. It was here, during the Finance Forum 2025 organized by Bankier.pl, Marcin Sulmirski – founder of Bingo Rent – talked about the idea behind the first tenancy deposit guarantor in Poland.
– Bingo Rent is the first guarantor of rental deposits in Poland. We are entering a niche with an innovative approach that has so far been practically undeveloped, explains Sulmirski.
What is the idea? Instead of freezing several thousand zlotys on the owner's account, the tenant uses a service that confirms his financial credibility and covers any claims of the landlord. In large cities, where deposits often amount to three times the rent – i.e. PLN 6,000-9,000. PLN – this is a real relief for young people entering the rental market.
The process looks simple: the user logs in to the platform, fills out the form, and Bingo Rent verifies his data and financial situation, while providing the landlord with a transparent report.
– Thanks to external API, we check the authenticity of data and the client's financial capacity. For the landlord, it is certain that he knows who he is renting the apartment to, explains Sulmirski.
Inspiration from Switzerland and a mission of inclusivity
As the founder of Bingo Rent admits, the inspiration for the project was the Swiss rental market, where similar solutions have been operating for years.
– We drew inspiration from the conservative market, with a population of 8 million, where this type of solution really worked – says Sulmirski.
The deposit guarantee model not only makes life easier for tenants, but also increases the sense of security of property owners. Transparency and credibility become the key here. Importantly, Bingo Rent is not limited to large cities only. The company also wants to operate in smaller towns, where the barrier to entry into the rental market is lower, but the need for trust between the parties remains equally important.
– The element of inclusivity is very important to us. We want the service to be available not only to Poles, but also to foreigners – specialists from Ukraine, Georgia and Germany working in Poland – emphasizes Sulmirski.
From a niche to a new rental standard
Although Bingo Rent has only been on the market for a few months, it is already talking to institutional developers who manage hundreds of apartments as part of PRS portfolios. It is there – in large institutional lease projects – that fintech sees the potential to implement its model on a larger scale.
In the coming years, the company's key goal will be education and building market awareness.
– We want to create an environment of new, good practice in managing the rental deposit niche – says Sulmirski. The company focuses on transparency, inclusiveness and safety – values that often remain in the shadow in the rental world.
Bingo Rent has the ambition to change this approach – and as the market interest shows, it has a real chance to do so.
