A Nazarovite who arrived at the bailiffs in an expensive car was forced to pay off a multimillion-dollar debt

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, bailiffs ordered the general director of one of the trading companies in the city of Nazarovo to repay a debt of more than 7 million rubles.

It is reported that the man had accumulated debt on servicing the brokerage account and had not paid off with the banking organization before it went to court.

“The bailiff notified the debtor about the initiation of enforcement proceedings and called for an appointment. The man arrived in an expensive BMW X6 crossover. As part of the enforcement actions, the bailiff immediately seized the vehicle and explained to the defaulter that if he does not repay the debt, his car will be handed over for sale. As a result, the man paid off the debt in full the next day,” the department said.

The Bailiff Service also recalled that it has “quite effective legal leverage” over debtors, so it is better for them to fulfill their financial obligations in a timely manner.
