The financier of the Romanian Champion, Gigi Becali, declared that he has no plans to transfer players from the second most populated continent.
Unhappy with the play of centre-back Siyabonga Ngezana, the FCSB boss is also upset with the South African stopper's attitude.
“Look what I'm telling you. Don't think it's discrimination. I don't take these players anymore. It's not about discrimination. I help thousands of kids. But you can't get along with them. You tell them one thing, they do another.
I can't say, that you can hear it later. There are things that… You know what I mean. His wife is in Africa. I told him now to come with his wife and child and bring them here. He doesn't understand.
They have no civilization. I don't understand. I said 'Penalty!' 'What if'. It doesn't matter to him. 'See that penalty'. 'Yes, yes'. I told him that we would take 20,000 and he said 'It's ok, it's not a problem'”, Gigi Becali told Fanatik.
Ngezana was co-opted to FCSB in 2023 when Becali paid the sum of €600,000 to Kaizer Chiefs for the transfer of the South African, according to iAMSport.
