Advice is an integral element of the postal system that often arouses great emotions among Poles. Poczta Polska announced major changes from the beginning of 2026 related to the institution of postal advice.

As Poczta Polska explains in its announcement, the e-Delivery system in Poland is developing very dynamically. There are already over 2 million inboxes in the system, and 75 percent of them were created in 2025. From January 2026, we will experience significant changes – many offices will be obliged to use digital correspondence.

Public administration will be obliged to use the e-Delivery system in communication with citizens who have an electronic delivery address (ADE). For people without ADE, correspondence will be delivered in a hybrid form – digitally, then printed and delivered by postmen.
Thanks to the e-Delivery system, Poles can handle official matters faster and more conveniently. In 2025, over 35.6 million digital parcels were already sent, which shows the growing interest in this form of communication. From January 2026, the system will become mandatory for many public institutions, which may accelerate its popularization.

Poczta Polska promotes the e-Polecony service, which allows for the digital exchange of correspondence between companies and private individuals. To use this service, you must set up ADE via the website and then activate the public delivery box. The process is safe – the user must authenticate himself, e.g. using a trusted profile, which eliminates the risk of impersonating another person.

There is a platform on the Poczta Polska website that allows you to purchase digital services, such as e-Recommended, digital signature or SSL certificate. Thanks to it, entrepreneurs and individuals can send documents quickly and safely. Various packages are available that allow for flexible adjustment of services to the user's needs.
