The occupant of the 99th place in the WTA ranking, Gabriela Ruse, celebrated her 28th birthday in the Maldives on November 6. The Romanian athlete posted several images on her personal Instagram account, and her best friend on the circuit, Marta Kostyuk (23 years old, #26 WTA), commented: “Sexy!”, to which Gabriela replied: “Just like you.”
Gabriela Ruse has not played since October 13, when she was eliminated in the WTA tournament qualifiers in Osaka by Varvara Gracheva (25 years old, #79 WTA), score 6-7 (2), 2-6.

For her 28th birthday, Gabriela Ruse chose an exotic location, the Maldives. The photos posted by the Romanian sportswoman gathered thousands of likes, and the Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk stood out, who commented: “Sexy”, to which Gabriela replied: “Just like you”.
This fall, Gabriela Ruse had inconsistent performances, failing to pass the 2nd round in any of the tournaments she participated in on hard.
In mid-June, Gabriela Ruse played the final on grass in S-Hertogenbosch, but lost to Belgian Elise Mertens (29 years old, #20 WTA), score 3-6, 6-7(4).
I'm a big fan, and when I have some free time, I try to change sports a little. I stick with Dinamo. It is a family tradition. I grew up with Dinamo, but I stick with Romania, in general.
I didn't go to the stadium with my father, more with my mother, because she is the picky one in this family. I was, I think, twice in the stadium. I haven't been to a football match in a very long time, I'm glad to be back, to be here. I haven't watched for a long time, but I feel happy to be here”
