

“This is the best assessment of all time and proof that even during war we are able to reform and change the country according to European standards,” Sibiga said.
According to him, Ukraine has fulfilled all the necessary formal prerequisites for opening negotiation clusters for joining the EU.
“And today the only political obstacle is Hungary, which is blocking our path to gaining membership in the European Union, to opening clusters, in particular the first cluster, abusing its status as a country of the European Union, a NATO country,” Sibiga said during the marathon (the video was published on the Telegram of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
Sibiga added that the EU cannot be hostage to the abusive policies of one state, Hungary.
In particular, Ukraine is working with European partners to find a formula for opening clusters, despite Budapest’s veto, the minister indicated.
