Mihai Stoica, the general manager of the FCSB club, came with clarifications about the relationship between Florin Tănase and Darius Olaru, very important footballers for the Romanian champion.
The official's reaction comes after important voices in Romanian football have concluded that there is a tense relationship between the two players. Olaru did not receive the captain's armband when he entered as a reserve in the match with FC Botoșani, and the two shared their penalties in the match with UTA Arad.
Mihai Stoica: “Florin Tănase and Darius Olaru have never fought”
“Let me tell you something important, that there were rumors that there were problems in the dressing room, that there were misunderstandings and it was even written that Olaru and Tănase had something, there was animosity between them.
The player assigned to take the penalty kick in the match against UTA was Olaru, and he gave the ball to Tănase. After which Tănase, who had scored, gave the ball back to Olaru, even though he needed it because he is in first place in the scorers' ranking.
If anyone doesn't believe, look at the body language of these two players, who are looking for each other on the field, cheering each other on, they have never argued. There is absolutely no problem in the locker room and there never was,” said Mihai Stoica at Prima Sport, according to orangesport.ro.
Florin Tănase occupies the first position in the SuperLiga scorers' ranking, with 9 goals scored and two successful assists. Darius Olaru scored three goals this season.
