

The aircraft crashed at approximately 5:15 p.m. local time, shortly after takeoff from Muhammad Ali International Airport in Louisville.
UPS has confirmed that one of its planes was involved in an accident. Louisville police said they were responding to reports of a plane crash and that there were injuries, but were not releasing details. The causes of the incident will be investigated.
The agency noted that the accident occurred near UPS Worldport, the company's main global air cargo operations hub and the largest package processing center in the world.
Local television station WLKY published aerial footage showing large fires. Rescuers, firefighters and police are at the scene.
Gov. Andy Beshear took to social media X to share more information as it becomes available.
“Please pray for the pilots, crew and all those affected. We will share more details soon,” he wrote.
